Thanks for your live concert reaction! He does play Caprice #5 in studio live. One thing I noted early on in my marcin discovery, is that he is actually doing what Ralph Macchio was portrayed, and beyond, in the Crossroads movie. You must see/hear his arrangement of Bach's Toccata and Fugue. Thank you!

Nice reaction! I believe Steve Vai’s piece was based on Caprice no 5. Marcin has his own version of that song available on his channel and I strongly recommend it as it’s a masterpiece. Nice back ground music Michael. I listen to Matteo thru Head Phones. Van Halen never had band mates like Matteo. I did the Harmonic like that decades ago. Matteo does Cliffs of Dover with a different ending. Steve Vai was correct, Matteo is years above any guitarist. July 6 2024

It's always funny to see first time reactions to this performance. Like people know more or less what to expect, but then when she just launches into it, you can just see everyone's jaw drop and brain get rewired in those first 10 seconds of "wtf is even happening?"

I've seen Tina's videos literally hundreds of times. She is mindblowing! This is the only performance I think that's taken from more than one play through. The guitar neck and body close-ups reveal her hair in different places and it's the same with the whammy bar. Far from being a criticism, it's just an observation. The fact that her repeat playing is accurate and seamless enough to do this is a testament to her insane talent. TTFATF is more of a technical exercise and requires little soul or feel to accomplish, more so exceptional skills, which Tina obviously has. The fact that For The Love Of God, Altitudes and The Loner are played through in one take so brilliantly just goes to show that the multiple angles in this video were more for aesthetics than an attempt to cover any shortcomings, which some have suggested over the years I've watched this superb display.

Yo! Marcin has a saying that he bought the guitar so he's going to play the whole thing. I saw an interview where he explained that he never learns how to play a song on guitar then puts in the percussion later. Instead he devises the arrangement of guitar and percussion simultaneously so he has nothing to unlearn.
